Antonios is a digital law Manager at the Platis – Anastassiadis & Associates Law Partnership, associated with EY Greece, member of the EY Law network, since 2017. Through his role in the firm, he supervises EY Greece projects related to technology, from a legal perspective.
He has more than a decade of practical experience in electronic communications and media law, IT and e-commerce law, intellectual property law, cybercrime law, data protection and confidentiality of communications law. Prior to joining the “Platis-Anastassiadis & Associates Law Partnership”, Antonios worked as a freelance attorney and a legal counsel for companies in the digital and telecommunications sectors in Greece.
Antonios holds a PhD in Intellectual Property Law from the University of Westminster, UK. He also holds an LL.M. degree in Philosophy of Law from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece, and an LL.M. in Information Technology and Electronic Communications Law from the University of Strathclyde, UK.
Antonios has been active in legal counseling and litigation services in the Greek technology sector, for many years, offering all-round legal services to technology start-ups and corporations in Greece. He has several scientific publications in academic journals. Among others, he has published a contributing chapter on “Governing Media through Technology: The Empowerment Perspective”, in the 2013 Routledge Handbook of Media Law and Policy. He is also the editor of a Greek technology law blog.
